Celtman Extreme Scottish Triathlon
A selection of images from Celtman Extreme Scottish Triathlon, an iron-distance triathlon in the North-West Highlands of Scotland where competitors from around the globe swim 3.4km across a tidal sea loch replete with jellyfish, cycle 202km around scenic highland roads and then run a marathon distance 42km over (for a blue t-shirt) or around (for a white t-shirt) two Munros, Scottish mountains over 914.4m high. The Celtman race starts at 5am on a remote beach near the village of Shieldaig and finishes, for some, over 18 hours later, in the community hall at Torridon, with the local support and enthusiasm for the event being part of its character.
